At Sunny Insights, we have years of experience with planning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning from a wide range of international development and humanitarian organisations.
We draw on the latest research and thinking, as well as our own practical experience from developing PMEAL processes, systems and capacity for large international organisations. Years of project and programme support to a wide range of organisations with various thematic focus give us a solid understanding of and ability to meet the real needs and demands of development and humanitarian actors.

Sunny Insights' lead consultant served as the team leader in Danish Red Cross' first-ever breakthrough study. The study sought to understand how and why change happens within Health and MHPSS programmes. The study included case studies (Kenya, Lebanon and Palestine), and a synthesis review of the organisation's evaluations from the past 5 years.
The study used an approached where all qualitative data was coded in accordance with an agreed coding scheme to ensure thorough analysis in line with the expectations of the organisation's technical advisors.
Sunny Insights' lead consultant served as a team member in Action Aid's Denmark's context and needs assessment in Lebanon and Jordan, which informed their humanitarian programme under their partnership agreement with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The assessment included desk review as well as primary data collection in Lebanon and Jordan via focus groups and key informant interviews.
Sunny Insights' lead consultant served as coordinator for a large multi-country study for WaterAid on WASH sector strengthening. The study included Timor Leste, Pakistan, Nicaragua, Malawi, Ghana, Ethiopia, Cambodia and Burkina Faso.
The study included desk review as well as primary data collection via focus groups and key informant interviews.
Sunny Insights' lead consultant carried out an assessment of Leonard Chesire Disability's volunteering set-up through desk reviews and visits to over 15 care homes across the UK to conduct key informant interviews, focus groups and observations.
Subsequently, the findings were used in a participatory process to draft a new Volunteering Strategy for the organisation.
